Shawn Mullin

Shawn is the Sports Director for Golden West Radio in Swift Current, and the play-by-play voice of the Western Hockey League's Swift Current Broncos on The Eagle 94.1 FM. He has been in the radio broadcasting industry since 2004 - working in Ottawa, Owen Sound, and Castlegar before making his way to Saskatchewan. Shawn started his play-by-play career calling Junior B Lacrosse in Ontario, and spent four years as the voice of the BCHL's Trail Smoke Eaters. He has also hosted his own sports talk show, co-hosted two morning shows, and worked in three different news departments. Shawn studied Political Science before giving up any idea of a "real job" to jump into his passion. He is a long-suffering Montreal Expos fan, and baseball won't be right for him again until Youppi is back on top of the dugout.
